What is a Marriage Meander Journey?
A fun wedding planning day specially designed for brides-to-be and their retinue, to assist with all aspects of your wedding planning.
What can you expect on the day?
As a guest, you are warmly received with coffee, tea, and breakfast buffet laid on by the first hosting venue. You are given a large Marriage Meander bag in which to place all the goodies you will collect throughout the day. You will then be taken on a tour of the venue to see the various services and facilities on offer, so you can start dreaming up your wedding day!
During breakfast, you will be treated to short demonstrations or presentations by top wedding specialists and see displays of their products/ services. The reliable wedding suppliers have been specially selected and will share with you a wealth of information gleaned from years of experience. Guests are encouraged to interact with the venue or wedding specialists before boarding the luxury coach to the next venue. The day continues in a similar fashion, visiting the other venues for tea and lunch, afternoon canapes, before ending at approximately 17h30.
You will depart with tips and ideas, gifts, the opportunity to have shared many prizes, and full tummies from all the treats and excellent cuisine sampled throughout the day.

Cost: R425 pp, includes breakfast, lunch, teas, transport and a goody bag.

WHICH WEDDING SPECIALISTS ARE ON THE JOURNEYS?
There are varying wedding specialists on each journey – each an expert in their field and with a wealth of experience. There will be a representative from every category of your planning: Legalities, Marriage Officers, Stationery, Hair & Make-up, Wedding Attire, Music, Videography, Photography, Décor, Flowers and the Honeymoon. Your hosts will be on hand to answer all of your questions and queries.
WHAT SHALL I WEAR?
It is best to wear comfortable walking shoes and smart casual clothing. The early mornings are chilly but things really heat up along our journey – so dress accordingly. If the weather is overcast bring a brolly.
WHO SHALL I BRING WITH ME?
Bring your parents, fiancé, bridesmaid or best friend – whoever you would most like to spend the day with! You are welcome to bring as many of your entourage with you as you would like – it is a fabulous, social day out. Many grooms-to-be attend the journeys and can be assured of enjoying fabulous food. If you would like to come on your own, this is perfect too. Our Team is very hospitable and you will certainly not be lonely. It is not advisable not to bring children as it is a very long, exhausting day for little people.
ARE THERE ADDITIONAL COSTS ON THE MEANDER?
There are no additional costs on a Meander and the venues really go out of their way to provide scrumptious meals and beverages.
The rate per person is all-inclusive. There may be goodies available for purchase by the suppliers and these are luxuries over and above the spoiling already available throughout the day.
WHERE DO I PARK MY CAR?
You will leave your car parked at the first venue of the day. You will be transported by luxury coach to each of the venues and arrive back at the first venue of the day at approximately 17h30. Your car will be looked after by security.
CAN I BRING MY CAMERA?
With pleasure. You will be seeing stunning venues and will be inspired by the displays that the wedding specialists take so much care in preparing. You are more than welcome to bring your camera and take lots of pics. It’s a memorable day, so you’ll want to take some selfies too.

Absolutely! Details of all the Journeys are available on the website and App as they are confirmed.
HOW DO I BOOK?
Go to our EVENTS page on this website to select your preferred Meander Journey and just send the Contact Form.
Please remember that all tickets are on a first come, first served basis and seats are limited. We do not take bookings or payment on the day. Bookings need to be made and are payable in advance. Because of the demand, we are unable to take provisional bookings. Upon receipt of your booking form and proof of payment, we will email you a letter of confirmation.
