The March Midlands Marriage Meander Journey
We had the recipe for a fantastic day: Perfect weather, stunning venues and delicious food, awesome wedding providers and amazing people!
Thanks to huge efforts of all the venues and service providers, the guests attending the recent Marriage Meander Journey in the Midlands were treated to the best. It was an early start with breakfast at The Windmills, then high tea at Lords of the Manor, lunch at Old Balgowan and ending the day at Pecanwood for cocktails. It’s probably best said by the guests themselves:
“We would like to say thank you very much for a wonderful day we had in the Midlands. We were truly amazed by the loving, welcoming atmosphere throughout the whole day and from every staff member we met. We thoroughly enjoyed the day – it is one of the most successful days of our wedding planning so far.” (Dawn & Riaan)
“I just wanted to say thank you SO much for such a wonderful experience yesterday. My mom and I had an absolute ball and we really enjoyed speaking to all the different vendors and getting some more wedding ideas (not to mention ALL the yummy food!)”. (Che & Dee)
“I just wanted to thank you for an awesome outing on Saturday. My guests and I had a fantastic time and we will definitely recommend the Marriage Meander to friends and family in the future. I must also compliment you on your event planning skills – it is not often that we see such highly organised people”. (Roxi)
Top Service Providers seen at NWJ Bridal Fair
KZN is blessed with fantastic wedding suppliers and many went all out at the recent NWJ Bridal Fair to show what they have to offer.
One of the highlights at the Videoccasions stand was the new 3D video – the first in SA and the future of wedding videography, which is sure to be a huge hit. The quality is amazing and it’s almost more real than life! Rudy from Cakes etc had the most stunning cakes on display – she always comes up with new ideas to WOW the brides. Flora Flowers had the most amazing display of ideas and various arrangements, demonstarting their creativity and professionalism. Lord Louis impressed the guys both at their stand and on stage for the Fashion show and had a fantastic competition running.
Some of the most talented photographers, Neil Cuninghame, Stuart Dods and Brandon Wyness were there to display their albums and meet with bridal couples throughout the busy week-end. Hundreds of Marriage Meander books were given out to brides and grooms looking for information and ‘all the contacts they just have to have’ . Great interest was shown for the next Marriage Meander Journey on the 24th March, one of the main attractions being The Windmills, who had a very impressive stand and more impressive staff. They are causing quite a stir as one of the most sought after wedding venues in the Midlands.
It was a fabulous week-end all round – thanks to all the enthusiastic visitors to our stands and to the service providers for going the extra mile.
