The Marriage Meander Journey (Midlands Venues)
The Marriage Meander Journey is especially designed for brides-to-be and their retinue, to assist with your wedding planning. We would like to give you a taste of what you can look forward to by spending the day with us
It is an early Saturday morning start, with registration for the Marriage Meander Journey taking place at 08h00 at the first of the venues! As a guest, you are warmly received with coffee, tea, champagne, orange juice and a breakfast buffet laid on by the hosting venue. You are given a large Marriage Meander bag in which to place all the goodies you will collect throughout the day. You will then be taken on a tour of the venue. Having the liberty to see the various services and facilities on offer, you can start dreaming up your wedding day!
Following this, you will be treated to short presentations by wedding specialists and displays of their products/ services. The wedding suppliers have been specially selected and will share with you a wealth of information to ensure that your wedding is a success. Guests are encouraged to interact with the venue or wedding specialists before boarding the coach to the next venue. The day continues in a similar fashion, visiting the other venues for tea and lunch, and sadly comes to an end at approximately 17h30. Guests depart with tips and ideas, gifts, the opportunity to have shared many prizes, and very full tummies from all the treats and excellent cuisine sampled throughout the day.

WHICH VENUES ARE ON THE MEANDERS?
There are selected venues or bridal studios per Meander dependent on the area and date and as they are confirmed we place their details on our website under Events and Features.
WHICH WEDDING SPECIALISTS ARE ON THE MEANDERS?
There are varied wedding specialists per category – each an expert in their field and with a wealth of experience. There are both presentations and displays by these specialists and they are available to chat to you throughout the day.
WHAT SHALL I WEAR?
It is best to wear comfortable walking shoes and casual clothing. The early mornings can be chilly but things really heat up along our journey – so layers are advisable.
WHO SHOULD I BRING WITH ME?
Bring your mom, fiancé, bridesmaid or best friend – whomever you would most like to spend the day with! If you would like to come on your own, this is perfect too. Our Team are very hospitable and you will certainly not be lonely! It is not advisable to bring children as it can be a very long, exhausting day for little people.
ARE THERE ADDITIONAL COSTS ON THE MEANDER?
The rate per person is all inclusive of a day of spoiling, pampering and gifts. There will be goodies available for purchase on the day so you might want to bring a little cash with you just in case you find the perfect accessory for your wedding day or a wedding favour you may fall in love with.
WHERE DO I PARK MY CAR?
You will leave your car parked at the first venue of the day. The luxury Marriage Meander coach transports guests to each of the venues and arrives back at the first venue of the day at approximately 5 pm. Your car will be looked after by the venue security.
CAN I BRING MY CAMERA?
With pleasure. You will be seeing stunning venues and gain inspiration from the variety of displays that the wedding specialists take so much care in preparing.
CAN I ATTEND MORE THAN ONE MARRIAGE MEANDER?
Absolutely! It is a good idea to get a feel of the different areas and options. The dates of all the Meanders are available on the site once confirmed.
