My name is Katya and I am the face behind the camera at Katya Fedkina Photography. I am originally from Ukraine but now call South Africa home. I have a beautiful family which inspires me daily to become a better version of me. I love to travel. I believe that every moment of our lives is precious and worthy of capturing.

I remember the first time I sneaked into the dark room, illuminated with red light, where my dad was developing the film. I was six years old. That was the moment when my curiosity in photography started.

Today, with digital photography, the process of creating pictures has become less sophisticated. And yet, the objective remains the same – to capture moments of our lives that matter and share them with the generations ahead.
