Some days in this industry remind you exactly why you love what you do — and our 𝑮𝒍𝒂𝒎𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑮𝒓𝒂𝒔𝒔𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒔 styled shoot at the Glass Barn was one of those days.

When your “models” are actually newlyweds, the chemistry is effortless. Cyra and Roydon made every frame feel so authentic.

The wind on the hillside during our ceremony scene was an unpaid actor that billowed Cyra’s veil at exactly the right moments. And the sunset views over the Umkomaas Valley were Hollywood-worthy.

The setting at the Glass Barn is top notch. Brenda and Donald are the most wonderful hosts, and we honestly didn’t want to leave… which might explain why the last of us only drove out after the sun had set. 🌙

Baker Brenda (not Lodge Brenda) made the most glamorous cake for the shoot and also baked a carrot cake for the team to nosh… not a single crumb survived.

The Muirhead’s Hiring team knocked it out of the park with flowers, décor and draping, complemented perfectly by the elegant stationery suite from Claudia (Willow & Mist Designs).

Candice from Blush created the most beautiful hair and makeup for our bride and bridesmaids, who were dressed to perfection by A’mour. Finished off with a classic tux for our groom from Suit Up.

Wade, this reel by Conway Photo & Film brings back 𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒇𝒆𝒆𝒍𝒔. The footage and stills tell the story so beautifully.

PS Brides — when your photographer suggests bridal portraits in the shower… just say YES. The images of Cyra in the cottage bathroom might be some of my favourites.

HONEYMOON | There’s a certain kind of honeymoon that doesn’t need a passport or a packed itinerary. It just needs space, quiet, and the feeling that the world has softened around you.

That’s what @dumamanzi offers – a river-set escape in the Umkomaas Valley, close enough to feel easy (±90 minutes from King Shaka International and 60 minutes from Pietermaritzburg), but far enough that you genuinely switch off.
