🥪 @hamblinscatering will be serving up delicious (and affordable) eats for guests to enjoy on the day – no need to leave hungry!

🚍 @service.excellence will be assisting with food service and will also have one of their shuttle vehicles on display. If you anticipate needing to move people on your wedding day, you'll definitely want to chat to them about their shuttle services.

☕ @caffe_giordano is bringing an authentic Italian coffee bar experience, and every guest gets a free coffee – because wedding planning needs caffeine, right?

FEASTS AND FLAVOURS | A wedding cake should never feel like an afterthought. It sits at the centre of the celebration, appears in some of the day’s most photographed moments, and, if it is done well, becomes something guests talk about long after the last slice has been served.

That is where Brenda Pieterse of @occasional_cakeskzn stands out. With more than 35 years of experience, she brings both creative instinct and real baking substance to the process. Her wedding cakes are not only beautifully made, but built on scratch baking, tried-and-tested recipes, and a genuine commitment to flavour.

What makes her offering especially appealing is the level of care behind the custom work. Brenda does not work from a fixed formula. Each cake is made to order and shaped around the couple’s style, whether that means classic tiers, sugar flowers, something more contemporary, or a design pulled from a saved folder of inspiration. Just as importantly, she cares about how the cake tastes. If a favourite flavour is not already on her list, she will source and test until she gets it right — or better.

FEASTS AND FLAVOURS | @hamblinscatering seems to understand something important about weddings: the food matters, of course, but so does the feeling that someone capable is helping carry the day.

Serving the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands since the early 2000s, and led by award-winning Head Chef Renzo Hamblin, the team can move comfortably between elegant plated dinners, creative canapés, rustic harvest tables, and themed food stations. That range gives couples the freedom to match the food to the mood of the wedding, whether they want something refined, relaxed, abundant, or a little more playful. And the food itself clearly leaves an impression — beautifully presented, full of flavour, and the kind of meal guests continue talking about long after the wedding is over.
