The Gallery wedding venue at The Farside Farm combines a premium boutique Bed and Breakfast with a magnificent three-tiered wedding venue. You are not simply hiring a wedding venue, but partnering with us to create a series of memorable moments resulting in a remarkable experience to be remembered.


Our venue rental includes the exclusive use of three magnificent venues which dovetail together to create the perfect wedding day.

The Ceremony, Reception and After Party are all interconnected separate spaces – each space holding it’s own majestic look and feel creating multiple wonderful experiences for your family and loved ones throughout your special day.


The Pavilion is a majestic open-sided venue with beautiful mosaiced pillars and chandeliers offering panoramic views of The FarSide Farm. The open-truss roof has clear sides and quintessential rafters interspersed with skylights. Our Nguni Cattle herd roam in-front of The Pavilion, creating a memorable arrival for guests. This venue is typically used for Ceremonies.

In the event of inclement weather all sides of the venue can be closed in with canvas side-walls.


Alongside The Pavilion is The Piazza. This is a fully walled Tuscan-style open courtyard. It is fully covered with a bespoke Bedouin-style tent which spans the entire area. This space is flanked by remarkable grey stone walls and two magnificent giant wooden doors leading into The Gallery. Thoughtful uplighting along the stone walls and a water feature built with milk pails adds to the charm – bringing this space to life at night.

The Piazza can accommodate up to 160 guests seated if used for the reception.

In the event that the reception takes place in The Gallery or The Pavilion, The Piazza can be utilised for the cocktail, buffet and/or dance area.


Through the two giant Piazza doors you enter The Gallery wedding venue, a beautifully appointed venue fashioned from hand-cut sandstone, detailed with Oregon pine and Yellowwood.

At each end of the vast hall are magnificent fireplaces embedded in dry-stacked stone. The lighting, curtaining and decor have been meticulously combined to create a warm and inviting atmosphere throughout.

The Gallery can accommodate up to 120 guests seated if used for the reception.

In the event that the reception takes place in The Piazza or The Pavilion, The Gallery wedding venue can be utilised for the cocktail, buffet and/or dance area.
