Who are we? My name is Rhoda, a former events planner. I am married to Duane Mans, DJ and owner of Discotech Events SA, an entertainment company that caters for sound and photo booths at weddings, corporate events and private functions. We have four beautiful children together.

What we do? We come to your venue and make each and every child feel like the most important guest on the day! We design a tailor-made schedule of activities indoors and outdoors (weather permitting) that will stimulate the little ones and keep them busy. All activities are age appropriate and varied according the kids interests and needs.

Why? Kids also want to have fun and it can be a challenge for parents to keep an eye on the little ones at an event. Often what we see as a great chance to “catch up” with friends and family results in hassled parents, interruptions, cutting up meals, trying to keep their children seated, endless trips to the toilet and above all, trying to keeps the kids out of trouble as they run around just letting off a bit of steam.

Any event? Yes! Weddings, birthdays, kitchen teas, baby showers, reunions, exhibitions and corporate functions!

What do we offer? We offer three standard packages (4, 6 and 8-hour) for groups of 5 children or more (max 15) aged 2 – 10 years. We will also babysit the little ones 0 – 2 years at a nominal fee. If group exceeds 15 children then a nominal fee will be charged per child. We do also offer a child minding service for 1 – 5 children. Discounted rates are also available if booked in conjunction with DJ and / or Photo Booth service.

T&C’s apply. Outdoor activities include, but not limited to, “Boeresports” like egg race, 3-legged race, soccer, musical chairs, sack race, memory game, minute-to-win-it, hula hoops, obstacle course, Simon says, just to name a few. Indoor activities include colouring in books, puzzles, giant snakes and ladders (3m X 3m), arts and crafts, indoor jumping castle, movie corner and many others.  We also offer popcorn, juices, hot dogs, snack packs, platters, WII games, face painting, balloon sculpturing, mini photo booth as well as a huge movie screen with projector for the ultimate experience.

So, what do we expect from you as parent? That’s very simple! We expect you to enjoy yourself at the event and in the back of your mind, know that your precious little ones are having lots and lots of fun!
