The company was founded by two Italian brothers whose great passion for Prosecco precipitated their quest to source the finest product that Italy had to offer. After visiting the region and the many vineyards therein, the brothers fell in love with Valdo, a market leader and producer of superb Proseccos, whose outlook remains symbiotic with their own; Valdo Prosecco for Life Lovers.

Prosecco has grown exponentially world-wide in the past few years and is one of the top-selling bubblies all over the world. In order to be labelled Prosecco, this sparkling wine has to be produced in the designated DOC and DOCG regions in Northern Italy. DOC or Denominazione di origine controllata, is a quality assurance label for Italian wines. Valdo Spumanti is the exclusive home to Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG.

Unlike Champagne, its main commercial competitor, Prosecco is usually produced using the Charmat-Martinotti method, in which the secondary fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, making the wine economic to produce.

Prosecco tends to have fruity and flowery aromas which are a product of the Prosecco grape. Because the wines are aged in large tanks with moderate pressure, Prosecco bubbles are restrained and gentle. The finest Prosecco wines often exhibit notes of tropical fruits, banana cream, hazelnut, vanilla and honeycomb. Most Prosecco variants have intense primary aromas and taste fresh, light and comparatively simple

Valdo Prosecco DOC:

Filled with aromas of  exotic fruit, banana and papaya. Yet the wine delivers a very clean entry onto the palate and does a great job of keeping your mouth refreshed. Elegant as an aperitif, but also excellent throughout the meal.

Valdo Floral Rosé:

Valdo Floral Edition Prosecco Rosé is a young, bright, smart and trendy sparkling Rosé, beautiful on the inside as it is on the outside.

A perfect blend of two typical Italian vines, 70% Nerello Mascalese and 30% Glera grapes, filled with aromas of Rosé blossom and a consistent presence of raspberry and fruity flavours.

The palate has a pleasant tickle of delicate bubbles, pleasant round warm and charming fruity flavours with a fine, elegant and complex structure. Highly pleasant and ideal as an aperitif, together with fingerfood or any light dishes.

The yearly edition is dedicated to the Life Lovers of the World, when spring is in the air, Valdo Floral Rosè blossoms.  This Floral packaging was designed for the Milan fashion week in 2016 by Italian Designer Fabrizio Sclavi and is now a set product in the Valdo range.
