Come and soothe away the tensions, as you relax in the calm ambience of Calderwood Hall Edwardian Guest House nestled in the foothills of the Southern Drakensberg in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. The inviting Jardine Function Centre seats 250 guests comfortably whilst still allowing for a dance floor. Two large five-metre stack-back doors lead onto a walkway alongside the koi pond. Another set of stack-back doors lead off the venue onto a large outdoor deck area overlooking the beautiful view of the mountains and surrounding forests. The mock Victorian sash windows, tastefully decorated walls, a Victorian fireplace and three large oversized shabby-chic styled chandeliers add to the overall ambience of the room.
The pretty and tranquil thatched stained glass chapel can seat 150 guests. Brides can make a grandiose entrance as they come into the chapel through the wide, double doors. As an alternative to the chapel, you can use the arbour in the front garden.
Over the years, we have built up a strong reputation for quality catering provided by CHC Catering as well as superb function management and coordination. Guests can look forward to tasty food, beautifully presented, and a quiet, no fuss, management style.
Everything you need and more…
As Calderwood Hall is becoming an increasingly popular wedding venue, we are booked up well in advance so have introduced midweek wedding and winter wedding offers as another option. They attract a particularly competitive venue hire.
