With its location on a west-facing ridge, Mission House boasts sweeping views of rolling grasslands and the majestic Drakensberg Mountains, providing a breathtaking backdrop for romantic celebrations. A Versatile Venue for Your Dream Wedding

  • Reception Area: A solid, level area designed to accommodate stretch tents or marquees for up to 80 guests. Adjacent facilities include modern bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen for your chosen caterer. The area also features a smokeless fire pit and a custom-made, movable bar with views of the surrounding farmland.
  • Larger Celebrations: For weddings with up to 200 guests, Mission House offers a variety of open spaces across the farm for both your ceremony and reception.

On-site accommodation

Mission House includes charming accommodation for up to 17 guests as part of its wedding package. The main house is a spacious, light-filled home with four beautifully furnished bedrooms, accommodating up to 14 guests. The studio is a cosy retreat for up to 3 guests.

Both spaces are fully serviced, self-catering, and equipped with modern amenities. The bright interiors are ideal for getting-ready photos, and the surrounding landscapes provide stunning opportunities for wedding photography, especially at sunset with the mountains as your backdrop.

    We loved our wedding at Mission House! It allowed us to create something that felt very personal and unique. While we initially wanted an outdoor ceremony on the lawn, a downpouring of rain brought the ceremony inside to the barn, which ended up being the most magical and intimate candle-lit ceremony. Thereafter we moved the party to a stretch tent outside, where our guests had the biggest jol. Penny and Jon went out of their way to get the venue ready for us and accommodate our plans. The house is also the perfect venue to get ready in, and the setting is ideal with beautiful views and lots of accommodation options nearby.
