The journey on 26th Nov 2016 was another fun-filled, informative day. The forty guests gathered excitedly at beautiful Eden Lassie for a delicious breakfast by CHC Catering, some stunning displays and informative presentations by select service providers.

Then onto the luxury bus to Sweethome Wedding Venue for a delectable morning tea by Eat with Love.  As the newest venue in the area, there was much anticipation and guests were impressed as they toured the chapel, immaculate country gardens and elegant venue. Some live entertainment by 5th Season Jazz band and a magician added to the fun before boarding the coach to the next venue, Gwahumbe Game and Spa. In their usual friendly style, the dedicated Gwahumbe team showed guests around and treated them to a superb lunch. Some top service providers shared tips and ideas and two ‘brides’ were selected for a hair demo by Craik Speirs and Makeup demo by Blush. There was some time to enjoy the scenic views and chat to the venue manager and service providers before departing for the last venue of the day.

It’s been said that ‘Life is an adventure’, and we certainly experienced this on arrival at the main entrance to iNsingizi when the bus got stuck in the mud! The delays did not dampen the high spirits of our wonderful guests as we ferried them in cars to view the unique chapel on the dam (while the coach was rescued by the farm tractor!) A few intrepid volunteers decided to walk off some of their lunch and enjoyed the journey on foot. We appreciate their positive attitude which will definitely hold them in good stead for the rest of their wedding planning! We are also grateful for the very experienced and caring iNsingizi staff that were so helpful and ensured our high tea at iNsingiz was more than memorable. A few reliable wedding specialists shared a wealth of information as guests relaxed in the peaceful surrounds and dreamed about their wedding.

The day ended on a high as guests were taken back to Eden Lassie on the coach with goody bags filled with treats, gifts and prizes, tummies filled with food and minds filled with much valuable information to help ensure their wedding planning is efficient and fun.

An important part of our successful journeys is having the opportunity to meet and discuss ideas with other couples going through the same process. That, coupled with top tips and ideas from reliable service providers who have years of  experience in the industry and are passionate about sharing it with young couples, ensures that the Marriage Meander Journey is an incredibly valuable day for all newly engaged couples or anyone planning their wedding.
